With the second release of MTLookup in September 2005 several plans have been relaized. Currently the following is still open.

Searching on Remote Websites

Anybody will be able to insert a search box on his/her website. From there a search can be intiated, which is run within MTLookup. However the resulting list of entries can be shown, as if this were a page of the partner's website. All details of the result list page can be modified.

Currently, my own Movable Type Weblog already offers this search function. If anybody is interested in this, please contact me.

Result List

The result list will have additional features, so you can use it even better. For example, a grouped listing, merging articles from one website into a group, can be used.

Ranking

Currently, the ranking is done by MySQL. If the result list ordering is not as expected, please tell me your experience. There are some things that might be changed.
