If the result list is too large, please consider these hints
- Reduce the number of websites.
- Add more keywords.
- Use quotes for building terms from keywords. For example, the phrase banner image searches for all articles containing both words. However, "banner image" searches for the exact two-word phrase.

World Wide Web has been mainly constructed with US-ASCII, even for URL. But in now and future, WWW will shift from US-ASCII only world to Internatinalized world with the help of Unicode, UTF-8, IRI, and so on.
If you are European, or Asian, or others, you would write an entry by your own language, therefore the title of it also will be with yours. However, the default MT removes or deforms non US-ASCII characters in title to make an entry basename for permalink URL(It is completely right in URI side). As a result, they couldn't enjoy full features of MT that can create Cool URI. Only English users could do.
This plugin makes your permalinks as Cool IRI...

If you have ever read a weblog you will quite certainly have discovered the term "Permalink«. What is this? And why can't you find this type of link in a new Movable Type project?
Avoid Moving Targets
When opening a weblog you will initially see the main index page. This page lists the most recently published entries, usually sorted by date. The contents of this page is coming and going. An entry, which is there today, may not be there tomorrow.
Sometimes you want to link to another weblog's entry. Maybe you like that entry so much that you want to link to it from your own website. However, the index page is not well suited as the target for this link.
And this is the situation...

If you are new to Movable Type and/or weblogs you may have encountered the term Permalink and wondered (as I did when I first read the term), what the heck is that?
A permalink is the permanent identifier to a specific weblog post or article. On Movable Type, a Permalink is usually a link to an entry's unique web page. The default archiving set-up in Movable Type includes date-based archives and individual archives. By default the permalinks are set up to link to an entry's individual archive page. You may see permalinks listed on many Typepad sites (like this one from Art Addict:
Clicking on the Permalink link will take the viewer to the page devoted...

If you are using Movable Type default templates, the titles of your entries on the main page of your MT blog are just that - titles. They look pretty but go nowhere. If you want to get from the entry on your main blog page to its individual entry page, you need to click on "Permalink" or "Continue reading".
Setting it up so that the titles of the entries themselves are hyperlinks to the individual entry page is fairly straightforward and requires edits to two templates - your Style Sheet and the Main Index template.
If you are using the default MT3.2 templates
1. The Stylesheet The MT3.2 default stylesheet is a huge file. The last time I printed one out it took 18 pages. It...

Question
My permalinks are pointing to the wrong archive type. For example, I want them to point to the Individual Entry Archive, but instead they point to the Monthly Archive for the entry.
Answer
When you use the MTEntryPermalink tag, Movable Type will create links that point to the archive type you have set as your Preferred Archive Type in Settings > Publishing : Publishing Preferences1.
So, you can either change your Preferred Archive Type to Individual, or you can add the archive_type attribute to the MTEntryPermalink or MTEntryLink tag:...

A specialized version of MTEntries that is aware of subcategories.
Attributes: • category - The value of this attribute is a category label. This will include any entries to that category and any of its subcategories.
Since it is possible for two categories to have the same label, you can specify one particular category by including its ancestors, separated by slashes. For instance if you have a category "Flies" and within it a subcategory labeled "Fruit", you can ask for that category with category="Flies/Fruit". This would distinguish it from a category labeled "Fruit" within another called "Food...

This setting controls who may comment on your site. There are three choices: • Anyone • Authenticated commenters only • No one.
Anyone and No one are self-explanatory except that the latter effectively disables commenting on the blog. If you are using the new template structure introduced in Movable Type 3.2, a rebuild of the Index templates will also remove the comment form from all of your individual entries. If not, you must rebuild all Individual archives to remove the comment form.
Autheticated commenters allows only commenters authenticated through the TypeKey service (or another...

The full URL (including http:// and your site's domain name) to your public weblog. This URL should not include the filename of your index file; for example, if your index file is located at http://www.example.com/blog/index.html, then the value for Site URL should be http://www.example.com/blog/.
This is a required field.
Example: http://www.example.com/blog/
You should never set your Site URL to the same value as your Movable Type application URL (i.e. your CGIPath). Publishing your weblog content to the Movable Type directory is a security hazard and can lead to numerous problems such as...

By default, Movable Type offers two formatting options for the text in your entries: None and Convert Line Breaks. The former leaves your entry intact without any conversion and is appropriate for HTML-formatted entries. The latter includes basic formatting of paragraphs and line breaks allowing you to write as you would normally.
The Movable Type Plugin API allows you to add additional options via plugins such as the popular Markdown and Textile.

Text Formatting Plugins Available
As we mentioned in our original post on Text Formatting, we hoped that Text Formatting plugins would make it easier for non-technical users to author and format weblog content. We released 2.6 just last week, and already plugin developers have implemented some exciting new Text Formatting options: • Timothy Appnel released a beta of his TikiText text formatting. • Brad Choate released version 1.1 of his Textile plugin. • Gregor Purdy released a POD text formatting text formatting plugin. • And, since we forgot to mention it previously, Adam Kalsey released MovableJive, a "port of some classic text filters".

I don't have a complete knowledge on IRI. So below contents might have some misunderstandings. If you find one, please feedback to me.
* At first, this post was written in part of Cool IRI for a permalink. So in this post, you'll often see the words, "this plugin". "This plugin" means that a plugin for a Movable Type bloggin tool, which enables you to create a Cool IRI for blog archives.
You may be stunned by comparatively long page. I swear this content is not deeply technical and is just common knowledge. If you have no time to read it, just see some pictures. Perhaps it will do a little for you.
What means a "Cool" ?
If you've never heard of Cool URI, I...

There are two methods to create a random entry, pulled from your weblog database (if you aren't using dynamic publishing). The easiest is David Raynes' MTRandomEntries plugin. However, MTRandomEntries generates a random entry only when you rebuild the page on which the MTRandomEntry code is located. If you want a random entry to be generated each time the page is refreshed in a browser, you can do that with a PHP script that pulls the data from your MySQL database. For this method to work your blog needs to be PHP enabled and you need to be using a MySQL database.
This tutorial will outline variations of a PHP script you can use to generate random entries, similar to what can be seen...
